Commercial Door Systems
Commercial Door Systems & Opening Coordination
CRMM can supply and coordinate commercial door systems for projects that require standardized, rated, high-use, or schedule-driven assemblies. Products are selected from appropriate manufacturers and coordinated against the project documents.

Commercial door solutions
- Hollow-metal doors and frames
- Solid-core wood doors
- Rated and specialty assemblies when documented for the project
- High-use commercial and institutional openings
- Hardware scheduling and opening coordination
Ratings, codes, and performance
Required ratings and performance come from the project documents and an eligible listed assembly. A custom-fabricated door should not be treated as a labeled commercial assembly unless the exact construction and documentation support that designation.
Hardware and opening coordination
Confirm handing, frame type, wall condition, anchors, hardware sets, access control, glazing, clearances, finish, and adjacent construction. The project team should also identify responsibility for keying, electrified hardware, installation, and final adjustment.
Submittals, procurement, and delivery
The practical sequence moves from schedule review and product selection through submittal approval, ordering, delivery, storage, and installation coordination. Availability and lead time are confirmed for the selected products before commitments are made.
