Service Overview
Purpose-Driven Cabinets & Casework
Cabinetry and casework work best when storage, access, equipment, materials, hardware, finish, and installation are considered as one system. Cache River Mill & MetalWorks builds project-specific cabinets and casework for residential, commercial, hospitality, workplace, and specialty interiors where standard sizes or finishes do not adequately serve the space.
Residential Cabinets, Casework, and Hardwood Shelving
Residential work may include kitchens, libraries, wardrobes, bars, built-ins, and specialty storage developed around room dimensions, daily use, equipment, and surrounding trim. Layouts account for clearances, access, hardware, material movement, lighting, and installation—not simply cabinet count.
Commercial Casework & Displays
Commercial casework may include reception desks, service counters, work areas, banquettes, display, back-of-house storage, and equipment surrounds. We coordinate durable materials, hardware, access, cleaning requirements, and interfaces with adjacent trades against the project documents.
Construction, finish, and hardware are selected for the approved use and budget. We distinguish custom architectural casework from standardized cabinet packages so expectations for materials, tolerances, detailing, and installation are clear.
Send drawings, field dimensions, equipment information, storage requirements, material and finish direction, hardware preferences, schedule, delivery access, and installation expectations. We will identify missing decisions before fabrication begins.

Working Process
From Early Information to Finished Work
01
Review
We review the intended use, drawings, dimensions, materials, schedule, and open questions before defining scope.
02
Coordinate
Details, interfaces, approvals, hardware, finish, and field conditions are resolved before fabrication moves forward.
03
Fabricate
The approved information becomes shop work, with checkpoints appropriate to the complexity and risk of the project.
04
Deliver
Packaging, delivery, installation support, and closeout expectations are coordinated as part of the agreed scope.
Project Feature
Coordination & Installation
Cabinets rarely exist in isolation. Walls, floors, ceilings, appliances, plumbing, electrical, lighting, countertops, tile, glass, and trim all create interfaces that must be assigned and checked. Field measurements, fillers, scribes, reveals, panels, toe kicks, access, and installation sequence should be resolved before production whenever possible.

Start With the Space and the Use
Send the drawings, dimensions, equipment information, storage requirements, material direction, and schedule. We will help define the cabinetry or casework scope that fits the project.
