Custom Wood Doors

Custom Wood Doors

A custom door must satisfy the opening, hardware, exposure, use, and architectural character – not just look right in a photograph. CRMM builds doors to verified dimensions and documented project requirements.

Interior and exterior applications

Interior and exterior doors face different movement, weather, finish, hardware, and maintenance demands. Tell us where the door will be used, whether it is protected, and what performance or code requirements apply.

Design and construction decisions

  • Opening and slab dimensions, thickness, swing, and handing
  • Wood species, grain direction, construction, and panel configuration
  • Glass, hardware preparation, jamb, or frame scope
  • Finish, exposure, delivery, and installation responsibilities

Matching an existing door

Provide straight-on photographs, overall dimensions, thickness, profile details, joinery information when known, and access to the original when possible. We will identify what can be reproduced and where new materials or current conditions require a change.

What to send for review

Include the project location, opening dimensions, drawings, reference images, material and finish direction, hardware information, exposure, installation scope, quantity, and needed date.

Have a custom opening in mind?

Bring us the opening dimensions, drawings, references, and performance requirements. We will help define the information needed for a buildable door scope.
